Frankincense has a rich, woody, warm, aroma that is stimulating and elevating to the mind. Frankincense contains sesquiterpenes that stimulate the part of the brain that controls emotions making it useful for centering and improving one's spiritual connection and it has comforting properties that help focus the mind and overcome stress. Frankincense is a valuable ingredient in skin care products for aging.

Test for sensitivity. Diluting this essential oil in vegetable or carrier oil before applying to the skin is recommended. The bottom of the feet is always the safest place to use and test oils, especially on children and those with known sensitivities or allergies. When using a new oil for the first time, do a skin patch on a small area of skin. Place a small amount of the diluted essential oil on the inside of your elbow and apply a bandage. Wait 24 hours to see if there is a reaction. Discontinue use if there is any form of reaction.For your health and safety always test first!

HOW TO USE:

Topical:

Dilute 1-5 drops of this oil with 1 teaspoon of carrier oil (increase or decrease based on preference/sensitivity) then apply to desired area as needed. Add two to five drops to an unscented lotion and apply directly to your skin. Add a few drops to a hot bath to feel relaxed and moisturized.

Aromatic:

Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice to deodorize and disinfect your room

Love this product - works great for arthritis and aches and pains.  Don't have to use much - just rub it in and it really helps.
